I love my china scoot! Ride it everyday. if it breaks, I can fix it cheaply. If other people want to look down on what I ride, then let them. Doesn't change how i feel one bit.

You know what I like about this? People are getting incensed that certain people are calling their Chinese scooters junk. Five years ago people who rode them practically apologized for owning them, saying, "I'll get something better when I can afford it." I don't see why there's even a discussion anymore.

I bought my first " Asian" scoot in 2005 from RC Moto at that time nobody knew anything about them and if you couldn't turn a wrench it would be the biggest disappointment in my life. there were no boards that catered to the Chinese scoots. When I first logged on to Scoot Dawg there were less than 50 members and from that a following a wealth of information as to the short comings of the Chinese scoots were addressed and worked through. These problems still exist but with boards like this they can be worked thru. The problems with inferior,stators,valve stems,fuel lines,and cheap belts still exist but we figured out how to remedy these problems.But I will tell you that alot of the replacement parts are just as inferior as the originals and it is a crap shoot on who to order from.
