What is the switch on the right handle bar below the kill switch? It is yellow on my bike, push switch but has no effect on anything.

That is the push button to put on the instrument lights and running lights and headlights. BUT they changed it so the lights come on with the key on and when the motor starts. So yours is a DEAD switch left over from older models. On my Trike everything is run off the Battery so my push button on the right side works, push it to the middle and the instrument lights come on and the running lights push it all the way and the headlights come on.

The yellow button on my new (2013) yy250t-2 is the starter switch if this helps but you got to turn on the key to the right (press) hold on one of the brakes handles then push the yellow button for it to start
