Not so fast! Japan has natural resources! They have a fish mining operation. Soon they will be the leader in food grade radiation therapy.
WIll Japanese scooters come with a "may cause cancer" warning now as well?

That is a nice model. The only difficulty I am seeing with Rev-trikes in general is that the two front wheels twist the scoot whenever one of them hits something or has an increase in drag. It takes a great deal of care to steer one. A normal two-wheel scoot keeps all the forces in line and is much easier to ride (for normal people). The narrower front end should help that problem but will not eliminate it.

I was just talking to a can am owner a week ago who just got his second one. He says they are as stabil as one can imagine. He swears they are the best thing since sliced bread. I am sure the reverse trikes we are seeing are not copying the can am spyder exactly yet.

They are stable on smooooooth surfaces. Unfortunately Physics raises it's head for a reality check.

which one?? the Can Am spyder?? gosh it's best for long winding road...but as soon as you make right or left turns you'll see how stupid the design is..you can't even lean when you turn, it's going to kick you off the bike, it contradicts the law of centrifual force. i've tried once in san diego..i like the aesthetics tho..but that's all it has to brag...definitely you'll hate the price....i'd rather get a fashion and fix it everyday than getting a 26K spyder

These Chinese reverse trikes are the poor man's Piaggio MP-3. This Yamaha looks like a Japanese improvement. You can be sure that the Japanese have a few Piaggios kicking around to evaluate. They did the same thing 50 years ago with Adler and NSU. Look how that turned out. I'm not sure that a 125cc engine will have the beans to pull it around at a speed someone buying a Yamaha would like. It's one thing to spend two grand on a Chinese 150cc Trike and use it around the neighborhood, quite another to spend over $4000.00 on a Yamaha for the same thing.
