Nice a 150 in a 50cc frame, the 157QMJ is a nice motor and you can mod the heck out of them. That is what I have on my TRIKE. Now you have to get the SHROUDs to cover the motor as well as the cover for the FAN otherwise the motor will overheat and seize on you. Right now the Fan is turning but not cooling anything. You can get the Shroud and Fan Cover here cheap. Alleyoop Just scroll down and you will find BOTH the Shroud and Fan cover. www.scrappydogscooters.com/125_150_4-STROKE_PARTS.html

Yep shroud it!
Looks like he did some work on it so its probably been well maintained. Love the look!
YOu said you weight 240 so the weights in the variator can be tweekd to better suit it for you. Those MPH numbers seem low especially with the mods i can see in the pics. Im getting 40-45 in a pretty much stock big frame 50
Get a tiny tach so you can watch the rpms and helps with tuning as well.
PS Whatever allyoop says, it is so!

HAHAHA, I don't know about that RED, But your right that scoot should be getting up to AT LEAST 50mph and maybe a little better since it is in a much lighter 50cc Frame. That puppy should be easy to get it to CRUISE at 50mph.
Now what could be slowing it up are the TRANNY GEARS if he did not change those. If the 50cc gears are still in there then that is what is holding it back. Alleyoop
