Hey All... I got my trike last night and OMG, it was a bear getting it into the garage. The delivery guy did get his truck all the way up to the garage but once there, we still had a hard time getting that huge crate inside the garage. It took some muscle and sweat but we got it in there. Whew. Unpacking it was a breeze but when we, my husband and I were inspecting it, we could get the seat to open. We searched high and low for something to open it with...no latch, no keyhole, nothing. So I came online and googled the problem. Thank you Alley and Mike...you helped someone else a year ago and it was still posted. I went back out and turned the key to the left and Voila!!! it sprung open and all the nuts, bolts, manuals, mirrors, etc, were there. Thanks again to you both. I'll post pics once we get it together.

As always, a proper and complete PDI is essential.
Someone on here will post a link to the PDI checklist
Take your time and do it all, and do it right.
Loctite is your friend
And check the air in the tires, and the vegetable oil that they call engine oil.
And gear oil
And rear diff grease
and coolant
and check the steering stabilizer shock absorber thingy. (behind the door in the center of the step thru)
Tighten/Loctite all the screws/nuts holding on the body kit (Don't ask why I know this)
and on and on and on and on......

If you get a chance Malevelina, Please take a picture of the AXLE.
I have a folder of the different axles that different trikes come with and when someone has a problem with the axles on theirs I can maybe help them fix it.

Congrats, and many years of happy scootering (or triking). Oh, and for once Luke exercises restraint, and what happens? People start baggin' on him. Me, I say enjoy the moment of restraint. It's the holidays, and I think Luke gets all gooey and feely.
