I got a project in store possibly. I'm considering converting my scooter over to propane. I've gotta rebuild the engine anyways, and have not too much $ invested in this; so as long as I don't burn the house down or kill myself I'll be happy.
My dad has a old propane buffer that has all the intake stuff and Ill pretty much be trial and erroring til I get something thats right. My biggest concern would be the throttle and how to regulate it.
this might even be a bust project. Let me know if you think it can be done.

Another negative thing would be the fun of running out of gas. Not many bottles have a very good gauge, guess you could put a emergency fitting on to run on a torch tank! Thats kind of why I did not get a gas grill the last time I bought one. They sure are convenient to light up but when your meal is half done and the gas runs out, your screwed, even if you have a spare the steak is ruined unless you like them good and dead.

I have never run out of propane before I start grilling, I used to until I put one of these on. I grill rain snow or shine. Alleyoop

Propane just like co2 in a liquid form gives pretty much constant pressure as long as there is some liquid. After the liquid runs out only then does the pressure start dropping. The pressure in both is quite variable with temp. In other words the gauge will stay the same until all the liquid has run out, then gauge starts dropping and you have very little left. Both are sold by weight. The gas weighs almost nothing.

Alley?? Light it up and we can have steaks out side on the patio with a cold one... OH!! Sorry, that's right your in a bit of a chill up there. Well, think of this, we went over to the Sponge Docks and had an early dinner out on the deck with some chilled wine and enjoyed it than off to the shops to see what was new. I was going to call you to rub it in but decided to do it here... Nice!! LOL

You poor slobs, eat your hearts out. All year round baby, only wuzzies don't grill in the winter and stay in like ELMER does to keep his BIG NOSE from freezing(HAHA).
I get T BONE STEAKS have them cut it about 3/4 of an inch thick. I cut out the filet for my wife and I eat the strip side. My strip goes on for 7 minutes on one side then I put her filet on and flip mind and then the filet is 3 1/2 minutes a side and they both come off. Have a baked potato and some greens WOW what a meal.
So you guys go ahead and go get your MCs with FRIES(HAHA). Alleyoop
