well since i toasted out my motor a couple weeks a go(oil plug blocked on the new carb i bought) i decided it was a good time to tear down the scooter to the frame. I took off the body panels and am repainting everything(to my wife's exact specifications). i only found one spot one the entire frame where rust was just starting to grow. I checked all the wires and connectors and they all still look good. I know a lot of people bash chinese scooters for being cheap but for over five years in florida. I think it has held up very well. I installed a new aluminum 47.6mm BBK, variator, clutch and belt i got from ScrappyDog. I pushed the start switch and it kicked right over(I must have done something right). I am waiting on a new tail light i ordered. so i can put the body panels and the seat back on. I can't wait so see how she runs now. Thanks to everyone one who has helped me along.....CHEERS

I bought an extra bag of nuts, bolts, screws and speed clips. That way I wouldn't know if I had any extras left over....

I took the scooter for a little ride in the neighborhood today. I replaced the jet in my 19mm carb with a #90 seems to work better than the #85. I was impressed with the throttle respnse. I didn't push it very hard ( I do believe in breaking in a motor). I could tell everything is still pretty "tight" but i think everything will be great once it wears in a bit.

Very Nice, Love your exhaust and better rims! I hate the stock rims on MOST of the scoots, and those bicycle tires they give you, I like have a wide meat rack, Better Grip!
