Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Today I discovered a wonderful website. It is a listing of all ethanol free Gas stations in the US, Means no more additives to offset the crap fuel that is being sold. Check it out. My city has 10 outlets. WWW.pure-gas.org

nice , but it would take two tanks of gas to buy it . the first to get to the closest station then the fill up I would burn on the way home .

Two of the stations are about twenty miles away. I'll have to take my gas cans there and try it. I can even fill the minivan and see what the improvement is under worse case scenario.

I'm 160 miles from the corner of Wyckoff and Smith Streets near Downtown Brooklyn give or take a mile or two.

guess I am blessed. The nearest station is 4 miles away and they just started carrying it 2 months ago, and he said that people are coming from 30 miles away.

With my car I get typically get 10 to 15% less mileage using crapahol. And they say 10 to 15% alcohol added....coincidence? It is worth it to me to pay more, like at least 15% more just to balance the mileage out, to say nothing of other benefits to real gas over crapahol. I have one station about 6 miles from here but he won't take checks or credit cards and I seldom have enough cash on me to fill there.

Sometimes it sucks to live in the sunshine. Nearest pure gas to me is across the state line to Lake Havasu at 160 miles one way. Closest one in my state is 434.5mi. It's a waste of good alcohol, mixing up with gasoline like that....

Check the marina's, around here they all have gas. You have enough water near your gas tank in a boat and not a good idea to put crapahol in your boat unless you swim well.

Just about everything around here has ethanol in it. Best gas in our town we can get is Shell but i am not sure if it has ethanol in it or not. does not say it on the pump unlike the other gas stations that say MAY CONTAIN UP TO 10% ETHANOL

If you want to find out for sure do a search for the water test on the net. You take a glass jar put a measured amount of water and "gas" in it and shake. When it settles the water/"gas" level will change if it has alcohol in it. Alcohol combines with water hence the reason it is so bad in fuel. They give specific amounts to put in and you can actually tell the amount of alcohol in the "gas".
