The Fashion has one as does the Honda Rebel. The Bashan Milano and Rocket don't. So my answer is yes and no.

i had a tiny windshield, no use at all ,so i took it off and replaced it with a customized front cowling...now it looks sporty. ,,
why'd you asked??
if you can't stand a bug in between your teeth, put on your windshield..lol
i hate tall windshield, it looks dork and nerd...lol

What if you have more than one scooter? My 180 and the old 150 did not go fast enough to require shields in my opinion and the 400 came with one. My old naked 1200cc bandit did not have one and the thought of putting one on it never crossed my mind.

So you wouldnt add one that didnt already some with one? I always put windshields on my motorcycles, like the Rebel. The 150cc scoot and 50cc minibike don't go fast enough or far enough to really need one. If I bought something like a 110cc BMS Bi Metro I might consider it. Any motorcycle I buy in the future will get one too. For all day riding at speed a windshield is a must. A lesson I learned the hard way in my youth.

my goodness!...what's the use of a windshield if you are wearing a helmet?? tell me!!!! unless you intend to NOT wear your helmet, which is against the law...
not in AZ btw...riders here are defensive and smart riders, so we don't need helmets....i dunno i guess it's the burrito that we eat which makes us smart.

Not so smart. We experienced riders who have ridden several hundred miles in a day know this simple fact. The wind will spend all day trying to push you off the back of the bike without a windshield. A Rider expends energy pulling himself or leaning forward to counteract the wind. A Rider is much less stressed at the end of a ride with a windshield than without one. I remember the first time I rode to Laconia without a shield. I was exhausted and bug covered when I got done with the 850 mile weekend. The next year I had a handlebar mounted fairing and I was much cleaner and relaxed at the end. I haven't had a motorcycle since that I didn't put a windshield on, because as a Rider, I know that fatigue makes you less aware and responsive on a ride.
Of course if you trailer your bike on long trips and only a ride a few miles when you get there none of this matters. It's why skull caps and no windshields are the costume of choice for all those people who trailer their bikes to Daytona Bike Week, Sturgis, Amerivespa.......

yah now i agree with kz, i experience this when i did a very long 215 mile trip to San diego 2 up with wifey...my neck, clavicle area and my upper back got sore... i told myself, shet, why do people ride very long and sore themselves, it's not fun at all. then i said, i need to buy a trailer and get rid of the sore part...now i'm a happy smart camper...

If you had a windshield on a nice comfy Chinese scooter like mine you would have been better off. I rode mine 200 miles back from Long Island and I was fine. Of course I'm not as old as you, I'm only 61. I guess at your age it is better to carry a scooter. When I get to be your age I'll look into a trailer.
