aha!! that's one big advantage of riding a morphous , i dont need to bring those heavy tools etc because it never breaks down, unlike your chinese's.. you need to bring entire set of different tools with you ,plus triple A or AMA roadside assistance. or your wife's fone number ,to call her and pick you up.. lol... and a good pair of tennis shoes to last when you push your scooter 10miles to your house because the valve stem popped out.. omg!! hehe or you got into an accident because when you hit the left turn signal switch, the right turn light blinks, my goodness this is a common events in a brand new chino scoot. unbelievable!! Not only do I not have any spares, like you do, I don't even carry tools. A well prepped Chinese scooter doesn't need all those things. Or a trailer. Not to mention a fire extinguisher.

I prefer this test from the experts. www.cycleworld.com/2007/03/01/urban-beat/The Vespa 250 GTS is quicker, more comfortable and more fuel efficient. It has better cornering clearance and superior storage. Most importantly, it’s more fun to ride. That’s something we can all appreciate. It would appear you own the loser.

i like vespa, its performance is superb, a friend of mine rode from Sd to lake tahoe 12hrs straight using his Gtv 300.? awsome performance. the only thing i dont like bout it is the appearance, it looks like a womans scooter no matter who rides it. and the front fender is just blocking the wind, not Aerodynamic. but other than that the quality is very high. but tell me guys which scooter looks more "LOSER" in this picture?? ... well, you can include the rider too, LOL!!! hahaha!

Lets see one is a scooter and the big one is a .... not much of a scooter, no step thru/ there. One can do the figure 8 in the box riders test and the other could not turn sharp enough to pass it. One can make a U turn in the garage and one can't.

You might be right about one thing Luke. I was searching the web to see how other Morphous owners feel about theirs and I came upon this from someone who actually dared to ride it a long distance.
I experienced this discomfort when I did a very long 215 mile trip to San Diego two-up with my wife on my Morphous. My neck, clavicle area and my upper back got sore. I told myself, darn! Why do people ride these things on long trips and cause themselves so much pain. It's not fun at all. Then I said, "If I'm going to keep this thing I need to buy a trailer and rid myself of the pain." Now I'm much happier.
A woman would be too smart to own a scooter that hurt her so badly on a short 200 mile trip. A woman would buy a Vespa instead of a Morph,,,,,,so would any man with smarts.
You should take a lesson from the Professor and delete the posts that leave you wide open.

Children children,,,to each his own,,,just our luck luke will be the smart one in the end,,they didn't make that many morphs for the worldwide market,,(but they still do make it in a form for the asian market but sales are sluggish) so it's almost assured to be elevated to occult status if it hasn't already (have you seen the resale on those things? crazy stupid money, some are going for more than msrp new),,he likes it so let him,,,i like mine and i probably would have loved the sonic i ordered (if the damned thing would have ever been delivered),,,personally i would grind the bottom of a morph off in turns in the first hour,,it's not what i expect in a bike,,too long too slow too heavy,,, and good luck finding body parts,,it does look cool but for me it's only a little more than a design study,,,,kinda like that crazy mixed up show bike in the pics section,,,neat to look at but thats as far as it goes for me anyways,,,as always the proof is in the pudding as they say,,,i get the "my bike is better than your bike" BS all the time,,,and here's my retort,,,,bring $10,000 cash and you and your bike for a race from L.A. to san francisco,,,,fourty miles of bad dirt road,,,,then the freeway,,,then 10 laps on a motocross track,,,then reverse order on the way back,,,,never had a taker,,,,i can do that sh*t all day long on my dr350,,and probably pull it off with the et,,,you should see the looks on the faces of the poser harley bagger crowd,,knowing full well the bike they have can't even do the run period,,,,so who's got the better bike? (i'd love to see a morph on a motocross track),,so for me it's the overall performance ,,,,and in keeping with the thread i use the snap-on half universal swivel joint so i can keep the bike keys on my main key ball
