Try using a heat gun. Works for me when that happens, just not to hot

everywhere you go you always find a dumass . Just your luck the one packing your order did or does not know better . I'm sure if you point this out to them they take corrective action .
heat the gasket as Jim suggests , the then drop them an email . I'm sure whom ever packed your order will pack it differently next time .

Luke you need to get out from under your rock. It is very evident you don't work on anything, because if you did you would know that this can happen with anything that you order and have delivered, packing errors happen. Even your precious Japanese dealers.

Whats worse is they never responded back to my email..... Well guys, I actually responded to this email personally. I guess we'll see if my response is acceptable, but I'm not going to air dirty laundry here. To recap: Yep, we bought a bunch of these gaskets and they are folded into small baggies. We haven't had any complaints until now, so it wasn't something to review. Now I'm looking at it, and if it something that we need to change, we will. Normally a little heat, or a chance to sit outside of the baggie makes these gaskets alright as they actually aren't all that easy to damage as far as gaskets go. Any concerns, you guys know how to reach me. Matt

I kinda thought the person that packed the order folded the gasket . I did not know it was a rubber gasket , I thought it was a fiber or metal crush type and was not useable . With the ups and downs with the chinese scooters . Put that gasket in hot water for 5 minutes lay it flat and put a book on top of it for another 5 minutes and move on . Don't break this guys balls , who else has that gasket and can have it at your door in a few days ? John

I guess I just don't understand breaking his balls over a rubber gasket that goes back into shape.

If you think it is that bad I'm sure Matt checked it out . Sometimes people don't do as you think they should that is not life or death or unuseable . Seriously!!!! I got engine pipes that were not formed or the flanges were off same with the mounting brackets . I made it work . John

I dont make new parts work at full price. Its been handled anyway.
AND it wont go back in shape because of crimps from the packing material stuffed in a long with it. If any of you who advertise on here see an order from me and "I have to make it work" dont bother sending it.
