Hey all having no experience with scooters (but i'm learning fast cause of you guys),,, i'm having a hard time finding true performance parts for the et4,,,plus this thing is quieter than a mouse farting on cotton,,,i just gotta get some noise outta this thing ,, any ideas or mods you know of would be appreciated ,, everything i read loses power which is not good,,it could use a little boost but not completely necessary it is pretty quick and fast the way it is,,,

yeah, i always take the good,,,and discourage newbies from buying the trash....if you know what i mean mr. motorcycle expert..LOL! how can people advice you if you are riding an italian scoot? ...you don't have a stuck float to deal with, a tranny that doesnt work from day one, a shimmy take off and a fuel pump that is fried..lol cum'on cyburg, be realistic...i don't want you to become one of KZ's 12 disciples...,i need to save your soul before it's too late!
stick with quality scoots!!

I remember seeing a European web site that has all sorts of performance parts for Piaggio products. I just don't remember the name. Vespa owners in this country, like Luke, just hang out at Starbucks and discuss Greenhouse gases so they don't make for much of a market. "Noisy exhaust. Good Heavens. We might disturb the White Snowy Owls slumber with that!"
and a fuel pump that is fried
I wouldn't go there Mr. Leaky Pump. Not to mention corroding electrical connections.

SIP is where I get my Vespa and Stella go faster parts but they cater to the two stroke shifter scoots. Scooter Mercato is starting to deal with the four strokes has grrreat prices but alot of times items are outa stock. You are right about this board being a wealth of information but the Vespa is different animal on here and you may want to check a board that is more Vespa oriented. Kz gave you some good links check em out.

thanks for the tips guys,,,i've been all over the forums/sites and i didn't find too much of anything,,exhausts that crack,,and are nutty money expensive,,altho i just did find a flatslide delortto carb,,,on scooterpartsco. (thank you very much alleyoop),that's a contender for crisper throttle response,,,,i think i may cut the original exhaust to open it up and find out whats going on inside that thing (i'll get an original on ebay to cut,,,they're cheap like me),,,and a malosi variator,,,, not too much going on with this model,,,i would have thought there would be a ton of stuff for it but i haven't found it yet,,,i will endevour to persevere,,,

I did in fact "join" modern vespa,,too snooty for my taste,,,i got jumped on for mentioning my wife who was a model and is still a serious knockout,,and my sons girl/fiance who is a hooters girl and how interesting pool parties got at the house when said girlfriend invited the "girls over" for lunch on sunday's,,,something about being a letcher,,,,frankly i see nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the" girls" when they come over especially when there isn't one square foot of clothing on 10 of them put together,,,but thats me
