What is the trick to bleeding the brakes with one of those phony ABS systems on my back brake? I've been bleeding it for an hour and still no pressure in the cylinder.

If it was me I would take off the phoney crap and get rid of it, you may have to change a fitting to eliminate it.
I have had a working master cyl. on the front of a 50 refuse to bleed after changing a bad hose. The cure was to get a new cyl.
They will bleed by gravity some times. Fill the master and loosen up the bottom of the hose till the hose is full and starting to drip, tighten hose then do a regular bleed. (pump up to get a little resistance while holding the brake lever,... open the bleed screw, close it when brake handle bottoms out ... then release brake lever and start pumping it up again)

That is a real slick way to do it. Might even been able to save the 50cc's master. But the new cyl did bleed fine.

It worked. I had to remove the caliper and tilt to so the air would bleed from the cylinders.

This worked great Allyoop. Went ahead and replaced the front brake fluid too. Used one of those syringes the drug store gives you to dispense medicine to your kids. A little small, but it did the trick. Still need a recommendation on some good fuel line.
