Yea, I'm old, (even older than Alley) been there, done that, not much surprises me any more.
As for accent, My ex managed to become very fluent in English, with just a hint of accent. But, it took a while. So, yea, I'm very used to the Asians accents. I was visiting a friend in the hosp last nite, and the Asian nurse came in. I could tell right away her accent was Filipino. I casually brought up when I was stationed there, and we connected, talked, but, she was too old for me. Hell, she musta been at least 30. so, yea, I totally understand the accent thing. Next time I'm in the area, I'd like to meet with ya, and you can see the old red neck white belt and shoes kinda guy I am.
But really, you gotta come back to earth on some of your claims.
I know you're just here to pull everyone's chain, have a little fun, tell some tall tales, and that's OK.
There is a Twilight Zpne episode where Andy Devine is a tall story teller. When he is taken by an alien spaceship, and escapes, and tells his story to the town folk, they don't believe him.

I don't have a problem with Luke and his personal attacks.
(well, actually I do, cause when it's PERSONAL, it's a personal attack, which has no place here. I can deal with his inexperience and BS'ing, but let's just keep it at that. calling me out cause I'm old, a cripple, ride a trike, has no place here. But, you should see my collection of Hawaiian shirts.)
I was married to an Asian for 33 years, and am well aware of the accent, and the thinking that goes on inside that Asian head. I'm guessing that Luke is actually a nice guy, but, likes to get attention any way he can. When he gets older, he'll get a little wiser and realize that the older you get, the less you know.

I also wanna meet Jim. We got a lot in common.
When I retire, I think I'll do some road trips and get to know you guys a little better

This is my dream machine. An obvious improvement on the ill fated original and since it's better built it will be around for a long time and parts will be cheaper. In red obviously since we know red is faster than blue.

He's over 75 years old,,,, ain't never going to happen,,, and I think also personal attacks have no place here period,,, experience and knowlege should be the order of the day here ,, every day,, goofin around and jokes are one thing,, not bringing anything to the table and being hurtful for shock value is quite another matter,,, I'm here in this forum to learn about scooters and scootering not to be badgered by know nothings ,,, and as a side note I tire of the threads being derailed but I still consider myself " new" so I've been quiet,,,, I have a hard time listening to inexperience from someone where my toolbox to hold my tools costs 2-3 times more than the scooter they're bragging about,, geez
