i gotta remove the seat to change my plug but yours is extreme. they probably thought the only one to ever touch it would be a dealer.
you gotta remove all my body panels to do a valve adjust on mine, which is comin up quick for me.

Maybe in the world of "Trailer Hounds" his reputation will be ruined, not in the real world where people actually ride. Hey Borg, now you know why the Japanese built their scooters with tube frames and removable panels. It might also be a pain to remove them to service the engine but easier than pretending your scooter is a CBX.
Don't worry too much Luke, at least the Wolf is made in Taiwan. This only goes to show that even an expensive scooter fails sometimes even when it's not made in China.

Great Read!! My China 150 plug change has a acces cover in front or I can actually just do a reach around from the underneath right side. Air box removed and can also get to it by lifting the seat. Ride On!

My Piaggio 150 was a bear as well......had to roll the motor out to service the spark plug. Part of the frame lined up right in front of the plug.

What reputation??,,,geez where did that come from,,,anyways back to reality,,,,,i almost used my greenlee panel cutter to make an access hole then get a 2 inch rubber plug to cover the new and sane access hole,,,,this is exactly the reason i was eyeing the rukus or a derivitive,,,,no bodywork,,,,in vespa's zeal to have "the look" they completely throw servicability out the window,,,at least the older models the whole side of the thing comes off both sides so service was a breeze,,,ferrari's modena model has to have the engine dropped out for service,,damned italians,,, is that??

i just meant that probably 99 percent of vespa owners dont work on their own stuff. cyborg is that 1 percent. most things are like that now theres a few cars today that dont have dipsticks. just an oil level sensor. it was either mercedes or bmw. maybe both. the same car also equires a dealer to do an oil change to reset the oil light. no button to do it yourself and the more recent ones wont let you drive them if youre x amount of miles over the oil change mileage. they just shut down.

It must be that being awakened after such a long sleep made it grumpy. It will probably be fine now that it has the grumps out of its system. Are you going to keep it or is it on the block.
