Yes. More "fluid"
I believe anything you put between the spring and the clutch face compresses the spring a tad and raises rpms a little so you might have to mess with weights.

I would be kind of hesitant to trust the one with ball bearings in it. A few years ago they were selling a thrust bearing similar to owners of expensive spring powered air rifles. They came apart and ruined a couple hundred dollars worth of parts in a $7-800 gun. Thrust bearings that rotate only part of a circle tend to pound a detent in the races. Same with steering bearings in bikes/scooters. I would hate to have a ball get loose in the clutch area.
