You know what's sad Borg? A lot of people do actually ride their Morphs. It might be a semi-decent scoot, not as good as the Helix or Chinese Helix clones, obviously, but it's a second, or fourth, choice for the unfortunate. Those other poor Morphous owners do ride and use the Tub.

hahaha, not as good as helix or chinese clones?? wow oh my gawd!!! have you ridden one yourself kz? you need to ride one, before you can do your baseless fearless forecast, omg!! clones?? those are fake scooters, copied from the original, morphous runs with genuine japan parts, solid and durable, you may not understand what im talking about because you grew up riding clones and low quality motos. and you're so proud that you owned a kawasaki, you even use it as your username, welll tell you what buddy, kawasaki is the lowest quality amongst the jap scoots, they re like the chinese when it comes to quality. you guys need to wake up, quit buying chinese scoot, no less than the owner of this forum, my ole buddy, finally realized that chino scoot sux, he took action and bought a taiwanese scoot,Sym, a more better quality scoot. kudos!!! rich is giving us a good example, you guys better follow,

Loooouuwk. I've told you...lose the Japanese piece of crap and step up to the Taiwanese. I shan't talk to you until you get a quality bike. SYM...life's a sin without a SYM. Wait....what the hell was that? Gaaahd.... you'll be there one day people, and by that I mean over 60. Luke....have a good time on the other side of the world. Bring me back something really hot! I mean food...I can't handle the other...sheesh.

Have you ridden a Helix, or the equally good Chinese clones. You would be embarrassed you wasted so much time on that Tub, you'd cry for a week. You don't have to be a chicken to smell a rotten egg. Kawasaki is the best in the world. Big doesn't make you better. They sell more Chevies than Mazdas, can you even compare the two? Kawasaki won the World Superbike title over a floundering Honda. Yamaha left World Superbike because their bikes were so bad. The new J300 will smoke your Tub.
Wake up and smell the humus Luke. My odometer keeps climbing in my signature, you can't show yours. You're a dying breed. Well at least a comatose breed.

I still want to know why yamaha quit making the morph bathtub after only two years of production. Even with all the bad mistakes they made with the majesty it has been made for better than ten years and mostly unchanged. They messed up big time building the bathtub. Lots of junk has been made that turns into a collectors prize besides the morph.

I said this before,,,the morph is a design study gone south ,,,never had much of a following in the west altho i do understand they still make it in a form for the asian market,,,it lost every ride shootout review that i could find on the net,,, it's just too much stuff hanging off it ,,the body looks out of scale to the running gear in my opinion,,,probably wouldn't be too bad if you could get some 16-17" wheels under it,,,i just like my stuff a little tighter and closer to the wheels,,all that extra weight and the leverage it has against the wheels and being small wheels at that sink the morph for any kind of sharp handling ,,,it's just a matter of physics,,like trying to swing a large pendulum fast,,,it ain't going to happen,,,never rode one but i can wager a guess it's not bad on the freeway,,plush,, soft,,,and if the ride position is good, probably would make a decent long haul bomber,,thats not my thing,,but i can understand it,i commute with mine and when i strafe the canyons it does good because it's so twitchy,,wheels a couple inches larger to slow down the steering a bit,,,it could use 10 more ponies then it would be stellar,,i can imagine the morph is the same,,in different respects,,,it probably could use another 10-12 hp,,,bigger wheels and it would be a bunch better,,,hey every manufacturer is getting away from the 10" wheel,,,most modern scoots have way bigger hoops and they ride better for it,,,hell even vespa went up a couple inches even on their "entry level" sprint (if you can call $5000 entry level for the 150cc,,,,scheech) and they practically invented the genre,,

Small wheels do have their good points. Like on a 50 or even a 150 that does not see more than 30-35 in a congested down town use. A bunch of years ago I was riding a gold wing and a brother riding a smaller bike took a tour of my home town going around where we used to ride with scooters, back alleys, short cuts and such when we were kids. There were a few places I could not go with out a great deal of maneuvering with an 8' long bike, it almost felt like I was driving a semi. A 50 with 10" or even 8" wheels would have been perfect.

Please.. originally $10,000, their price $7000, and will sell it to me for $3000. Looks nice, but that is just "Crapvertising". Even if it is a great scooter at the $3000 price, the over inflated "original" price would make me look elsewhere. If they are going to lie to me in the ad, I gotta figure they will lie about everything else.. The Morphous? Well, hate to be the defender on this, but the style killed it for american sales. I don't think I've ever read about drive system problems. Probably as dependable as the Helix or Reflex. Given a choice between Helix, Morphous, or Majesty in the same price range, brand wouldn't be the deciding factor..

Even if it is a great scooter at the $3000 price, the over inflated "original" price would make me look elsewhere. If they are going to lie to me in the ad, I gotta figure they will lie about everything else.. I only post the picture of this to rankle Luke. This company is very low on my list of reputable firms. There have been way too many stories about them. They are Sunny Sports-now. They used to be SunL, the company Luke foolishly bought his 50cc scooter from, and Massimo, which has disappeared. I'm well aware of Yamahas ability to build quality units but even they make mistakes. Something Luke has denied since he started this fracas. I have said it before and I'll say it again. A good owner is worth an extra 100,000 miles on anything. Luke knows how bad an owner he is so he trailers the Morph. And if it will make you happy, here. www.superiorpowersports.com/300cc_gas_scooter_p/sn300sc-e.htmThey claim a ridiculous MSRP of $6600. about the OTD price of what a Morph would be today. Hyperbole is the name of the game in online sales. These guys I would trust though.
