It's loud enough to startle the guy in the car you're beeping at. Startling him so he jerks the steering wheel and runs you over. I have a friend who believes in the loud horn theory. When we ride he gets cut off constantly and honks. I watch from behind at a safe distance because I slowed down expecting the car to do it.

That must be a horn how load is that thing luke? it's 132 decibels....you can hear it as far as 5 miles away...provided it's night time, and in a desert,no wind, no rain,no chirping birds. it's a nice horn

And, I agree on a MUCH LOUDER FUGGIN HORN other than that that 'meep' 'meep' thig we got on these dam scoots. Go to Autozone/CHECKER/OReilly and get a LOUD horn, or two (Hi and low) and munt em right up front. We can't put on straight pipes for a LOUD exhaust, but a HORN could be the answer. Ride safe (and LOUD) my friend Dave

To ride on a Military Installation they're required (or at least were) And, if a military person got in an accident off base, and they weren't wearing their hi viz vest, they could be held liable, and face military punishment for harming military property (meaning YOU). I also had invisible hi viz tape that reflected at night, but was barely visible in the day. I threw 'fashion' out the window a long time ago. But I now stay as far away as possible from all GMC Jimmys.

I put a whoping 60 miles on my scooter today you guys inspire me. I had to pull of the road a couple of times to let cars pass. No close calls though safe and productive day. I even stoped at a motorcycle shop and looked at a bigger scooter the Yamaha morphis. I am thinking this is what luke rides they said they could take couple thousand of sticker price.
I like my scooter but would like something with a little more power though. The under the seat storage area was nice could put a small fishing rod in the with some tackle. No rack on morphis though so no lawn chair at the park.
My scooter gets like 70 miles to the gallon I was told 90 oh well better than any vehicle with 4 wheels right. Hope all are riding safe and enjoying the weather it's great here in Pittsburgh today.

i got mine around 38 bucks 135db Airhorn. but you can get deals in ebay once in a while., it comes with a wiring diagram,so easy to set up. it needs to be fused because it sucks up too much power...haven't had any problem yet, had it for 3yrs now.

I had a air horn on the old 150. There's only one problem with a loud horn, or any horn, its too late when you go to push the button. The best policy is to ride like you were invisible.
For the idiots that is defensive riding!
When you ride like they can't see you its a lot harder for them to hit you because you have already taken the first step in avoiding a crash.
Staying in your lane no matter what when a texting kid decides to switch lanes makes you dead right/ Charging right out from a red light turned green with out looking can make you dead right again/ Riding like you own the road like a dump truck does and you have the right away, same deal dead right/
