I am going to be looking at a 2008 Znen Roar(actually a 2008 Eurospeed ES250M1)and need some general advice and opinions.

The bike has no miles on it and I know that there can be some issues with the bike sitting in a crate or showroom. Of course I know to change the oil and coolant asap. The oil sitting in the bike should cause no problems, but what about coolant?

Also, is 2008 a bad year for Chinese scooters in general? I know that there were a lot of imports in 2008 that were not sold before the economy went in the crapper and there was a backlog of 2008 bikes for many years, what I want to know is what quality issues do 2008 bikes have.

Different looking scoot, it does have the HELIX 244cc motor which is nice. Those motors have been around for decades and are very reliable.

So with basically a 250 engine it should be not only quick but reasonably fast too,,,,nice,,,i wonder what the mileage will be

Good looking style. You are right, tons of 2008s still selling as new. My roketa is a 2008, bought new in 2012. No mechanical problems, just the usual cheap plastics, but still a good ride. I don't think that you will experience any special problems due to the year. Just the regular pdi stuff..

I love the color of that one. Looking at both engines I think the honda clone might have a few advantages over the yamaha one. easier to service is one.
