No problems or questions for you guys this time. I just wanted to share.
Today was the only day where I've been free and the weather was nice in the last week and, according to the weather forecast, for about another week to come. After taking care of a few other things I had to do this morning, I tore into my lawn mower. It crapped out on me at the end of my last mow in October and I've been putting off looking into it. I really surprised myself when I took it apart, found the problem, bought the parts, and fixed it without issue. As it turns out, a guy who knows nothing about small engines can learn quite a bit from hanging out here and wrenching on his first scooter.
Anyway, feeling good about fixing the mower and done with my list of chores for the day, I decided to celebrate with a twilight ride on the scoot. It was amazing. For the first time, not only was I confident in the scoot, but confident in my ability to get it home should something break down while out riding. Not to mention, I'm becoming more confident in my riding skills. All in all, these things came together to give me, hands down, the best ride ever.
The weather was perfect, the scoot is running stronger than ever. Hell, I looked down at the speedo at one time and I was accidentally doing 55 MPH (not KPH) at about 3/4 throttle. I took her through Oak Ridge Cemetery, which has some incredible war memorials, and Lincoln's Tomb. Even at 20 MPH, it's a great ride. Ups and downs, lots of curves, amazing scenery... Back out on the road, traffic was even cooperating with my perfect ride. There was just the perfect amount of traffic to keep me busy, but not white-knuckling anticipating lane changes or surprise parking lot exits. Even the traffic lights were in on it. They were giving me all the greens I wanted for uninterrupted straight always, but also the enough reds to enjoy leaving cars in my dust off the light. It was perfection.

They just keep getting better as they break in. Just wait till you get a couple thousand miles on it!
I went out about 7 tonight and got back about 9:30, I love to ride at night. I just ordered the steering bearings for the majesty, its getting kinda twitchy. The bearings have developed a detent in the straight forward position so its time to change them out. I may end up keeping it once I see how it rides with new bearings. The risers and raising the seat made it almost comfortable.

Just one of many more to come. As it breaks in you'll see it become even stronger and more flexible. My Bashan is a totally different animal now than it was when new or even at 2,000 miles. Things will loosen, work harden and settle in. I'm glad it's working out for you but I'm not surprised.
