Think I bent my clutch bell when I took off my variator nut resting the tool on the clutch bell. Should I put a new one on? I kept hearing a weird grinding noise at high speeds and I think I finally found where it was coming from on the back wheel.

Looks fine to me.
What tool do you use to remove the variator nut that involves the clutch?? Ive never involved the clutch when removing the variator nut using 3 different methods.

Not sure how that helps get the variator nut off since the bely wont hold it. Are you calling the clutch the variator?

Rested the tool under the clutch bell while holding the variator fan, then used a giant torque wrench to get it off while I put a lot of pressure on the variator nut and the variator holder was resting on the clutch bell. kind of like this

ANy bend in the face might wobble but not grind unless its out enough to scrap the inside of the CVT cover which you should be able to see any scrape marks in there. I think you should look elsewhere.
