Got the new cylinder gasket put on, got the engine back up, clutch reinstalled, exhaust on, spark plug in, whole engine assembled, yadayadayada. Went to go start it and....NOTHING. Still no fire. Piston looks great, rings look great, cylinder looks great. We have TONS of spark, we have fuel going to the carb (unsure if it's coming out of it, though...), and we have 115LBS of compression (no change from the gasket installation). I'm really at a loss here guys...

Premixed did nothing. I think it has more problems than we know. We're just going to sell it. It's already on Craigslist!
Unfortunate, really.

Sorry I wish I could help you on this one .
I have one that has me stumped at the moment . The clutch shaft on my GTS has in and out play I don't know if that is normal or if I have a bad bearing .

Cyborg, the problem with these things is that the timing is controlled via internal switches. You have to split the crankcase to get to the "points", and even if I did that, I don't know where they SHOULD go. The previous owner replaced the "points" in it, and he said that didn't help. But he may have made another problem by putting the points back into the wrong positions. To be perfectly honest, splitting this engine is not on my todo list. I'd rather get the Xbox 360 I got for $25 to stop overheating >.>
