Hello,

A fellows wife that bought my SUNL 150 GY6 overfilled the oil, she can't accel over 25 mph now.......I don't have scooter here
but I have another like it home.....I think it's carb related. Plug was changed, Air filter changed.. What I need are some ideas
and the factory settings on the carb which is factory stock......

Whenever I hear that a scooter won't accelerate over 25 mph I think a vacuum line fell off or the fuel tank vent canister got filled with gas.

I agree KZ. I'd also run a compression check, the excess oil could have damaged a ring.

I have similar problem I have 2008 BMS heritage Znen150 .gy6 motor it started that acceleration problem now won't go over 10mph.
Starts and idles fine but won't accelerate. I have cleaned carb and jets, adjusted the valves, I tested my enricher it's working properly. What's the problem was running fine. I checked my hoses everything looks good nothing just lying around unplugged. Please I need to get this back on the road it's my only transportation.

Two things come to mind is the main jet have a bit of dirt in it? Or is the diaphragm for the carb have a hole or tear in it? And also is the engine making high rpm's but your just not moving past 10 mph? If so I would be investigating the clutch
