Checked my oil it was little high drained some out with a straw seems that fixed the idle incase anyo e else had same problem that could be why also getting better top speed again now also seems was to much pressure because of the oil level glad I checke and for top speed I backed off at 68 could have gone faster but kinda squirrel y on those little tires past 70

from what i read he said the front break was damaged if he ment the part you pull for break then it could be his break sensor because wont start unsless break is pulled could just be a loose wire there

had a similar problem with my scooter turns out it was a break sensor and fuse that came loose have you checked your kill switch and break sensors also on some scooters kickstand must be up to start do your gauges come on when you turn key and have you check the inline fuse from battery to starter mine was right next to battery another thing it could be is your starter relay may be in backwards are you sure you put it in the same way it came out and the ingnition coil the wire that goes to spark plug should be green to green black to black in case its not on right also

just wanted to add i have a jonway scooter and from what ive seen it should be .005 inches for the valve gap if they are to tight it will have difficulty starting and running i would check your manual before adjusting them just to be safe

not sure if this is a problem but when i first start my scooter it idles at around 1200 rpm but after i drive around it warms up it idles at around 1900 it should be at 1900 idle just curious why it would be low when it is first started
