so yesterday i rode about 2 hours after a rain storm and the bike almost fell from under me in a slight turn. My tires arnt that bad. They seem to be mildly worn and the general stock tires that come with a gy6 150cc scooter. What tires would you recommend. Because I plan on riding all trough out the fall and winter and would like to survive til next summer.

The best tires for wet is pirelli, stay off the damn snow if you want to live a full life! For snow what I found with small bikes, I rode 365 days in a row in around 1965 in iowa to prove something and for got what that was, any way snow takes a tall skinny knobby. Small wide scooter tires in snow is insanity. The wider they are the more like a snowboard and less down pressure in snow to grip.
edit: Snow is a huge variable too. wet snow, dry snow, ice on top, ice under, above freezing, below freezing, on pavement, off road, every one of those conditions you ride different. traction forward is the least of your worries, traction side ways very important as we lean to turn, hence the tall skinny knobby tire needed that has next to zero traction on wet pavement.

What size are you going to need? My 150 used sl26 pirelli's and 2 were less than a car tire when I bought them a few years back. Those tires will not be good for snow though. If you insist on riding in snow get the cheapest damn tires you can find so you have more money to spend in the ER! Or trade your scooter for one like KZ rides, the rocket, tall skinny tires.

Metal stud framing screws work pretty well for that, too. I run relatively cheap Shenkos on my 250 and they have held up well in the rain--of course I don't drive like an idiot in the rain, either. Plan your moves and don't do anything sudden, especially hitting the brakes. Now if you want to drive in the snow, check this out: www.riminimoto.net/prodotti.aspNow this looks like fun!
