Nice exhaust. Did you give that thing a full PDI? An actual complete PDI. Click HereRich, Do we have an official Scooter Doc PDI written up anywhere? If not then lets grab a copy of this one for now. Checked all nuts and bolts...Pretty ease with hardly any plastics. I need to check and silicon all the wires and connectors. I was waiting to do that until I install my led light bar for a headlight, and my r6 tail light.

That's the reason I first came here. To learn before I burn. And decided to stick around for the most info as possible. Along with a few laughs. Yea hindsight is 20/20

Yea it sounds like a four stroke quad in person. Way better than stock if exhaust is your thing.

Alright guys....Started modding already. Couldn't resist, but I am still breaking it in properly. So this exhaust system sounds amazing and bike feels way more responsive. I will be changing the CDI, Coil, and plug along with an intake and jet to make sure she's not leaning out on me. Just work a ton. Plus you know I had to cut and trim different areas to make the exhaust fit correctly and look right....Ate up some time. I think it looks pretty decent too! There is a video clip with sound in my album in the link.

Jim, had I done more research and not been so new to scooters, I would have ordered from you. In the recent weeks of scooter discovery it would seem that your company seems to have a pretty good reputation. MMM was a pain in the arse to be quite honest, and their customer service was poor to say the least. I'm not one to write bad reviews and talk smack, but when I give you $1,000 I expect to be kept in the loop. I understand shipping delays and what not... but don't just blatantly ignore my emails until I finally have to send you a rude one to get a response. That's pretty much what happened. Lessen learned though. I am sorry that one of my fellow Ice Bear dealers was such a pain in the butt. It gives Ice Bear a bad name when stuff like this happens, people are quick to say it is an Ice Bear issue, when in fact it is the DEALER's issue. The only time that I have had shipping delays is when the customer wants the PDI and assembly done before it ships, and sometimes there are delays. The difference is I keep my customer in the loop as to what is happening, I don't wait until I get a nasty email to let them know what is going on, as soon as I know, the customer knows. In fact just had it happen. I have said it time and time again, no matter who you may want to buy from, do your reseach, check the BBB, internet complaints and forums. Then make a call to the company and get a feel for who you are dealing with. I have worked very hard to get the rating I have, perferred dealer status from Ice Bear and the praise I have gotten on the forums from folks who I have dealt with. Where I may not be able to match the prices of some of these big box dealers, they can not even come close to matching my tech support and customer service. Heck, some of these so called dealers have never even seen what they sell, let alone work on them. I get phone calls everyday from people who have called their "Dealer" for assitance, don't get it, so they call Ice Bear direct and IB refers them to me to help them. Hope you have fun with your Ice Bear scooter! Outstanding advice. Should have talked to you guys first.

www.megamotormadness.com/product/sco038-150cc-scooterIt is sold as a "Beazer", however I recieved an IceBear 150cc. Runs good so far. Only rode it around the parking lot at work, but is smooth and peppy. Will ride it home tonight. I will warn you that I ordered on Sept 24th and just received it today. MegaMotorMadness was not the most user friendly company, but they offer price matching and senior, student, and Military discounts. Bike came packaged very well and in perfect shape. We also sell this machine as well as anything offered on the Ice Bear website. We also sell anything that is on the Ice Bear wholsale website www.icebearatv.com. Why some dropshippers have to change the names of the machines is beyond me. Yes MMM does offer a lot of discounts but I have customers that have bought from them and have a very difficult time getting customer service out of them. There are aslo some not so nice reviews about them. Good luck with your new scooter hope you enjoy it Jim, had I done more research and not been so new to scooters, I would have ordered from you. Alright peoples. So far so good. I have ridden the scooter a total of about 35 miles since I got it assembled yesterday. So far so good. My only complaint is that this thing is a wanker to keep idling when it is cold started. Which I have done anything to the carb other than turning the idle up a hair. Will keep everyone posted!

Test the BOTTOM wire on the 2 plug on the CDI(POWER FEED WIRE) with a 12v light tester or MULTI METER. TURN THE KEY ON, if it registers 12volts or the Lighter lights up it is a DC CDI if not it is a AC CDI. Alleyoop Hey Alley! Thank you for the diagram. Do you happen to recall if the little orange aftermarket boxes are dc or ac? Thank you sir

I am 6'2" and it lowers it 3" and moves it back almost 2". Between that and some foot pegs, I should be much more comfortable. That's the thinking anyway.

How do I know whether I have an AC or DC cdi? I have one of the orange coil and cdi sets and was wondering if I can run that on my IceBear 150cc gy6. Thanks guys
