You can not put a Toggle on the Alarm itself.
However, you could put a toggle on your main positive wire running to the battery...
I would like to add however, it would pointless as the alarm itself comes with a "Kill switch"... If you're worried about the alarm draining the battery, just disarm it. When it's disarmed, it draws NO power. One of my scooters have an alarm and I've owned it since spring and I haven't had any issues with the alarm draining the battery.
IN fact, I personally like these alarms so much, I just ordered a new one an installed it on one of my other scooters. Here's a video showing the install

I like the site Jim but it's time for a new scooter babe? I found you some samples if you don't mind?
The Phrase "Picture Perfect" comes to mind!!!

Bump.... What are the different ways to increase the RPM's of a GY6? I found this link showing different cams can help attain higher RPM's... What are (if any) other ways to increase the RPM's? LINK

Remember, it is always best to check valve clearance when building a motor with a stroker crank. Safe is better than sorry What is the difference between valve lash and valve clearance?

the name of the space is the cumbustion chamber,,,,",,, Thanks for clearing that up. I always thought the "combustion chamber" was the entire Volume of the cylinder at BDC. Do all engines have this provision for a stroker? Do some engines come factory where TDC goes all the way to the top of the head leaving no gap/combustion chamber? It has me curious as to why GY6 produces would leave the gap and not take advantage of the potential extra HP.... Can you elaborate/expand on that.... Are you saying the valves and piston could actually collide from rpm ( speed = RPM? ) excesses/deficiencies? The cylinder I have is a "special" cylinder, it's not the same height as a stock GY6 (It's 1.5mm taller) and is made to accommodate the specific 3500 (+3.5mm stroker) .... However, 3.5mm(stroke) - 1.5mm(extra cylinder height) = 2mm extra stroke,,... SO even with my extra tall cylinder, I will be filling that gap leaving only a .5mm gap. When it comes to "fuel sensitivity", I may have a cheat.... I will be using an Ecotrons EFI and it "self tunes".... If I fail the EFI, I may be screwed for a while because I'm not a carb guy and still have a lot to learn when it comes to upjetting and tuning a carb.... At sometime point you may get frustrated with me and tell me to go take a class.... But let me tell ya brother, I appreciate your help and hope you are willing to go on for quite some time. REDLINE is something I'm glad you brought up... With this build, it's a Taida 4 valve head.... Is it the case that in order to get the benefit of the 4 valves you need high RPMs? With this build I was planning for high RPM's.... It will have ceramic coated cylinder, a water cooler, and an oil cooler to deal with the excess heat produced from the higher RPMs'.... In where you see I'm making a mistake or using poor terminology, please correct me. Ok short stroke moving fast is good, long and slow problematic... But what about long and fast ( <----- Ok, this just sounds wrong for two grown men to be saying these things to each other.... )

This thread is about the 150cc GY6 I'm confused about something... As I understand (and please correct me where I'm wrong) it, Top Dead Center is when the piston reaches it highest point of the stroke. BDC is the bottom most point of the stroke.... In the picture I'm providing, it shows a gap at the TDC point between the piston top and head bottom --- What is this gap for? --------------------------- 2nd part of this post is about that gap.... I have been told that you can use a stroker kit as high as +2,5mm with out having to add spacers. So, I'm guessing that addition 2.5mm stroke boost would fill the gap? In short, can someone explain what that gap is for and the consequences/benefit of filling that gap with a stroker is?

I SMELL A BUILD!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD ON YA LADDIE!!!!!!!!!! Thanks and Oh, it's such a sweet smell! I discovered this site when I read a post by Alley talking about RapidJim doing his BBK, Well, RapidJim isn't that far from me and I was going to have him do the build... However, since then, I've discovered I like wrenching on these scoots almost as much as I enjoy riding....So I'm going to attempt to do it myself... I stlll need to acquire the case boring tool and a Dr. Pulley slider based transmission. *edit - I only hit the val;ve cover with buffer for like 2 min... wait till you see the final product... It will shine like chrome!

dmartin95 wow ,how cool is that?have you got to ride it yet?all, I got was a gift certificate from harbor freight.I'm sure it'll come in handy in the coming year.anyway Happy New Year. It is beyond cool.... I had showed my wife one day while I was surfing the net just to say "Hey, look at this cool thing".. Well, she took note and on Christmas eve I was like a fat kid in a candy shop! No, I haven't got to ride with it yet.... I live in Michigan and riding here right now would be miserable to say the least. In addition, I am still in the process of learning how to hook it up....I've read the ecotrons manual, alleyoop provided an awesome write up that he translated, and there's a good threads on these forums..... -------------------------------- MY Scooter is Bintelli Havoc which is a Zuma Clone... However, I'm converting my BIntelli into a Zuma Killer... For this Build, I have a Taida water cooled 63mm cylinder/piston machined out by Taida specific for me to use a 4 valve head and Taida +3.5 stroker.... It's going to be topped off with the EFI kit.

Choices choices,,,do we get to test drive before we buy?,,,,, In this day and age, of course the test drive would come after the "Post Delivery Inspection"..... Brings a new whole new meaning to the Acronym "PDI"

gas?

1. Does it really matter what kind of gas I use in a 150cc? I'm not a scooter mechanic so take what I say with a grain of salt... But when I purchased my Scooters, I Googled the heck out of this question. What I came to determine, yes, the GY6 should use 93 Octane. The GY6 is an air cooled motor and 93 octane burns cooler... There's 1000's of articles explaining why you should only run 93 octane (and avoid ethanol altogether if at all possible) in a GY6.... Now, your scooter will run on 87 grade, But you risk premature detonation causing engine damage, but IMO, I suggest a Local blend 93 Grade Octane fuel. In addition, 87 grade will gum up before 93 will.

I'm a big fan of Ebay, but the reason I suggested Walmart is because they sell the LED lights in 2 packs, Manufactured by Pilot (Name Brand) and only cost $14.00...
Locally, you can NOT find a better deal, at least that I'm aware of. However, If you could afford the wait, I would go with the links Alley provided.
I order a lot of stuff from China, downside is quality and wait times. The link Alley provided will more than likely yield the best price, but at expense of wait time and possibly quality.... However, the pilot lights are manufactured in China anyways.
Now that I have mine installed, I may just order some from China to have some on stock...
Another good China source is AliBaba.com
