I better shut it down for the night. It's getting dark out and hard to see. I don't want to ad more problems to it. I also think I found out how to adjust the automatic choke when I looked at my old carb. I'll get to that down the line a lil. First I want to clean up all the vac lines.

Now we;re into something. My old carb dose not have all the hoses going every where. I need to look through the pictures of my old carb and see what I can eliminate. This must be a California carb.

Ok, there is no hole there Which means all the hose is doing is stopping an air leak from the 3 way connector. I'll look and see if my old carb has a 2 way connector and change it out. Altho it won't change anything since it's just a dummy hose.

On the old carb it is plug. I'll go look and see where the other end goes on the carb.

Alleyoop, question for you. The carb came that way from the dealer. I have no open ends (that I can see) when it's hooked up. Do you think I should still change it???

I could remove it. But then I have 2 ends that might suck air. I might have a carb plug from my chevy that might fix it. I'll have to look. Do I need to plug both ends?? carb? I know I have to plug the other one.

I was afraid you were going to ask me that. This thing has vacuum hoses that go to vacuum hoses that connect to vacuum hoses.
I'll go look.

I didn't have to pull 6 panels off to find that one. By the way,, I found where the 6 extra screws came from and put them back.
