Nope, can't do it. The intake manifold is all one piece. I'm back to the enricher. any ideas on that one?

Good idea, I'll pull the rubber off of the intake manifold instead of trying to pull the carb out of it. I'm gone

The screws that hold the cable on are left handed? If so,, then that's why I couldn't get them loose.

Alleyoop, The throttle cable is already off, just not the bracket that holds it,, no biggie there I don't think. The rubber on both sides the carb are loose, I can twist the carb both ways. It just won't come out of the rubber boots. No room. I even have the manifold lose but can't get it past the top of the bolts that hold it on.
