No, the battery is under the seat. The only electrical that got wet was the on the handle bars, kill switch, light swithes, starter button and horn. trike was just setting so nothing, any plugs or wireing got wet other than things mounted on the high risers. I will give it anther day or two than take the meter to it and follow the flow from battery. Just not ready health wise yet to get around to do it.

What a bummer...Wed night I left the Magnum in the front of the drive because the wife had the garage blocked with the van. Took my little electric car and went to the club house to play poker and it rained sooo hard for about 2.5 hours  Well now she will not show any power when the key is turned on. Battery is over 12.5 volts and the fuse is good that is all I have checked as of yet as I am still taking it easy.... I Willl get around to putting the meter on her to follow the flow to the source in a few days but damn....If I were feeling right I would had moved the car and parked her in with the Honda Mike |

Well, 14 in rims....Looks nice....I think we will find a real difference in the rear for sure. Hope there is no chain and the thing will not require as much adjustments as the older models. One thing for sure is they are a blast to ride and the price is right. If they have changed the rear section it will be safer ride and much smoother, would justify a price increase... I am gonna look at it.
I am able to ride again now and the Honda sits as I can handle the trike. I like it so much I may kit my reflex to a trike if things don't get better.

Well the scooter part if fine.....It has to be the rear section...Sure hope they doaway with the chain frive to the rear axle....

I have had several electric bikes and cars... None of them ever got the range they saide they would. I still own and use a 2000 GEM Car for local use and play, and it is a eye catcher. They demand so much on the batteries they do not hold up long. I replace mine every 2 years on the little truck, cost a little too, it is a 72 volt system. I built 2 trikes a few years back with dual hub motors, 24volt systems and wow, what a drain on the batteries

Ger.. No matter what it is a bummer to remove. I have to still mod my swing arm bearings on the hubs and I am going to have sleeves made for the spline on the rear gear box where the sproket goes as the metal is soft. I hate to pull the rear too but have to when I do all that stuff

Yeah I will, that is taged as an NEV for the road at speeds of 35mph and less only. It is for sale right now for $3,000. It is a 2000 GEM

Ger this rear picture is current, note the double break lights in the rear....The bottom lights are turn signals only and the round are stop lights.....All are LEDS. I can run all day with the high beams on and still get the battery to full charge. Also I run the phone and or GPS and have plenty power.

The rack is just an ATV rack I saw in a shop so I got it and had the mounts done at a local shop. Just fine one that you like and measure first. Lee has a larger rack on his trike and and it also works and looks great. Now I want to add the mounts to the reart to hole the weight of loads not the finder fingers

I will get some close ups of the rack and mounts for you, but yes mounted just to the fenders. I am going to add 2 center mounts from the rack to the deck mount bolts to remove the weight of the loads from the fenders as I fear the finger finder mounts may break under heavy loads and bumps...
