I took my scoot to the shop for a nice little upgrade on my Jonway 2011 YY250T (Honda engine). Reupholster the seat brown, added lighted saddlebags and a lighted trunk with turn signals and a lighted spoiler or wing that when in running light mode instead of brake mode has a "Battle Star Galactica" type scrolling red light. Right to left, right to left. Anyway I lost my headlights and running lights at the same time ( no more scrolling...damn it). I took the rear cover out under the seat to reach the back lights and found a spider web of connectors. The shop wired the crap out of that baby. I have a friend working on this and he said "maybe the stator or the regulator". Battery checks out fine. So far he's got a little power and the headlight are very dim so that's good, right..? What do you guys think..? I still think there's a spider in that web. Bad connection, or ground, wires touching each other, something simple......right..?

My brake and turn signal work but all other lights are off. I checked the fuse and I did have 1 bad fuse. It's funny because after I changed that fuse (twice), nothing changed. Then what did that fuse do in the first place and where did my lights go...? I'm really stumped. The fuse box works fine..

thanks cyborg, Forgot to say my 2011 YY250T has around 11,250mi. Also not sure how my mileage would add up but I think I get about 72mph. I've always used regular gas with a little added shot of "octane" from the dollar store.

I need a new battery for my 2011 (YY250T). If I remember right it should have at least 7ah and 130cca. Lots of cheap ones on-line from China, another one at Walmart for $50 but can find no info on cca's. "Batteries Plus" have the perfect battery called a "MC-54B" but for $89.99. crap.... but with 8ah and 205cca with 12 month warranty, it may be worth the cost. Anyone have a better and or cheaper idea ..?

HI everybody. I want to get rid of that "RED" background dash light on my Roketa 249cc or Jonway YY250T. I can't find the darn thing. I've pulled 5 bulbs from the back of the dash and left them hanging there then started my bike and STILL THE RED DASH LIGHT REMAINS. Where is that little bastard. Is a RED LENS what I'm looking for..? Doses anyone know how I can change it..? I have Green and Amber T-10's just waiting to go in. HELP..............
