Hey guys, it's the queen of missing in action. I still haven't got to replacing the valve stems or making sure that fuel is flowing right because I've been working my butt off but..... today I had a crazy rough day at work (closet organization job where the shelves were falling out of the walls and I had to rehang them all before I could organize due to some dip screwing them into the drywall with no anchors.) Thank God for stud finders so I could rehang them the right way So... I got home, went out on the back patio with the dogs and smelled gas. Weird since I don't have gas heat or gas stove or anything like that. I went around to the side of the house and saw that the wind had knocked my scooter over on its left side. I had it on the better kick stand of the two but I guess it was no match parked on grass with the wind. As I was about to lift it back up I could see there was gas laying on the inside of the left side wall. I quickly looked at the gas hoses and where they are attached to and I didn't see anything that came apart. I lifted it back up and looked at the gas cap and didn't see any gas coming out of there or streaks from it. I tilted it towards the wall pretty far so it shouldn't get knocked over again. I was in my socks and stepping in the gas on the ground. Ick. There was still a lot in the tank by the sounds of it. This scooter has me smelling like gas even when I'm NOT working on it! Tomorrow better go awesome after today and also because it will be my 36th birthday! YAY! This was my first time ever knocking over a scooter and I hope its the last. Luckily I didn't see anything broken but I wanted to know if it being on its side could mess something up and if so what? Thanks guys!

Thanks. I'm going to try it out with the one I bought. The tank ones seem to be hundreds. They don't ship to your house for a rental. A cab to get a tank compressor rental would be about $40 each way lol. (It won't fit on the bicycle and the scoot is the reason I need it ) LOL.

what other forums? lol! I'm on 4 different forums for the jetski (mainly for the local meet ups in Miami section) but only one for the scoot and bike. I must say it is awesome being on one that is for my specific make and model. I'm happy with scooterdoc and you wise, silly old farts here

I can't hear the word hoover and not think of a girl in high school who was a miss slutty pants. Her name was Nicole Cooper and and word on the street was that she liked to suck a lot of crank so they called her Hoover Cooper. * chuckle * true story I hear ya. I grow and juice my own wheat grass and tomatoes. I used to grow my own mushrooms too back in the day. Not the kind you put on salads either. Although are nice when cut fresh and cooked lightly last minute on a nice garlic parm chicken and pasta sir fry lol.
