If you say air filter is kind of dirty then if it's washable then clean it with mild soap then rinse and air dry also make sure you choke is opening or in-richer is opening. Is carb tighten so no vacuum leaks are you running 91 or higher octane fuel? Did you take air fuel screw turn it in a 1/2 of turn to see if it runs if so try that. How is the plug? coil and wire?

I had my trikes about 8 months 2 have about 3,000 miles we also live in smoky mountains so yes they are worked. I only problems all of them was nuts came loose on exhaust header found a system called stage 8 fasteners that solved that, couple little problem with right side fog light kept burning out this was now solved, You will need to check all nuts and bolts from time to time. But for the money you can't beat them.

I will just say if you ever get into a traffic jam a lot of air cooled engines will tend to over heat, I took the Zodiacs 3 of them because there are water cooled and is they are largest of the trikes from Ice Bear at this time. I do interstate riding for short times but not often. The 300 cc has plenty of power for it 70 mph I not like riding on interstate hey NO. What you need to think about what type of riding will you be doing doing 70 my top speed wasn't my cup of tea. If you ride 2 on a 150cc you should be ok around town around 35 Alleyoop could could anwser that. I also had to think of riders weight on bike I am 235 pounds then my wife so I went with the 300cc after my wife drove it she came back and asked when I was getting my own LOL. So I am happy owner of 3 zodiac's trikes 1 red hers and 2 white and that is another story.
