I can't tell if the fuse is burned out, but go ahead and switch it with the spare fuse which is right next to it. And buy more fuses on ebay. you think that might make it not smoke and turn on ?

so my scooter ( taotao50cc) has been having problems starting up ( needing to give it gas o and off till it turns on ), one day it seemed like it died, i charged the battery using a walmart $80 self detecting charger and it would work all the time and turn on. This time it did the same thing, and so i went on charging it. but when i put back the battery Wrong and start it up i noticed smoked by the headlights and kinda by the engine area. what can i do ? whats gone wrong? should i try to charge the battery and give it a other go? p.s the battery was HOTT My bad why? lol

Two things
1. I broke my stock cvt belt on my taotao, so i bought a new kevlar belt but it seemed to only last me a month before that broke again, so while i was inspecting the parts to the cvt i noticed....(my video)
2.After a few days of letting it sit, it hasint been starting up right away like before. its been taking a few (3+)trys to get the engine started if i hold the ignition and apply gas off and on quickly it start up but it dosint seem to work every time like that, what could be the problem?

Are the valves set to 0.003 or .005, you might need to get a feeler gauge on that head.Only reason i say this is that it kinda sounds like the problem i had, and that fixed it right up better then before

My friend may have accidentally kicked the starter the wrong way and cracked the starter releasing the spring or what not, and ive done about 3000Km on it, and now it seems my cvt belt came off ( its slowly felt like something was on the belt then it snaped and the engine was free to rev) Does anyone have any instructions on how i can go about replacing it
its a taotao 138qmb

so i ajusted the valves, seemed perfect, followed the video to the T, even made my exhaust a tad lighter. When i put everything back and started it up it tryed to crank then shut off, did this almost everytime. So im about to go back and re-adjust the valves, also i noticed the valves are extremely tight when the main whole on he crank was at the bottom( note i did not adjust it like that, i infact did it exactly like the video i was just trying to see how it felt) what do you think ?
