Ok I have stripped everything down and cleaned everything and im rebuilding now. New wire harness should be in today so I can get back to the problem at hand. Which is the timing. I made a video but YouTube isnt coming up on my phone. But im hopefully it will all work out once I get it back together. Ill keep you posted

Its really just becoming a money pit. But thats prolly my fault. Lol its almost a whole new scoot lol. Wires the best place to get parts.or do you know a place that I can get older model parts...hopefully

Yea bro. And I even tried a spare coil I have. Tried using old stator. I think. Somewhere its grounding out. Cuz wires are melting and got no spark. Im goin to order I new harness. If you could see how bad the one I got is.shhhhhoooo its a wreak.im just worried the 2015 harness won't match my 07. Bike wires. I dont wanna have to cut it up

Welp brand new stator doesn't work.so I tried to old one to see if I could get spark. And I didn't see it my bro said he did barley. But the ground wires are getting super hot so it has to be somewhere on the bike the grounds are failing or touching something.so I haven't even got to try to fire the bike up yet. Imma try to order a harness and stator from peace company itself.cuz this third party stuffs just not doing it for me

So this stator is screwed. I ordered the correct plug one so no splicing. And im thinking thats what was causing it to short and kill itself

Well he has it at tdc. But has it lined up weird I will get a video and pictures. He says its starting . But the ground wire on my stator is melting . Something is pinched somewhere

No no I just mean its not safe it getting that hot right. I turned it over a few times when I got home and moved the wires with the back of my hand and burnt the beck out of me

Ok the new stator I got the plugs didn't match up so I spliced them and the ground wired is getting crazy hot. But the gauge of wires on my bike are thicker so idk its doing it. Am I going to have to get an exact stator cuz I seen one with same plug just would have took longer to get here.

Ok will do. The electric system all worked before this. But like I said I had to rewire almost the whole harness when I got that harness

Ok I reread what he said he said something killing it. That its firing and trying to start but somethings killing it. Could my carb setting being off do that or is he right about wiring
