with you saying about the lights flashing i would suspect a bad ground like tvnacman said..

i pulled all my hair out going through that once and only to find out the kick stand switch was the issue....buford..

nope 150 and yes 24mm carb. i was just holding up the carb for the pic still not done i got bigger carbs and what not. but im trying to do it with not much performance stuff.been really busy with other engines and when im not to sick to do anything ya know.ill get it done very soon though.thanks buford..i got ms and some days cant get going but we'll get there.

i think thats a big drop by just adding a extra base gasket.are you sure about that reading?

bigger cooling fins i would think that would help alot on these scoots.when i build monkey engines i allways get the new cylinder with bigger fins....
also......i allso use glyptal in my engines it helps keep oil clean and flowing better. it fills in all those tiny pores in casting. buford

how about double up on the gasket. as i ran them that high had no issue but that is me. also i put new crank in to. as i dont know how many miles you have on .
