I think I have the spark issue diagnosed. The stator flunks the ac voltage test from the exciter wire and charging wire as it does with resistance tests. I have been looking for another one and the prices are crazy! I cant remember if it was this forum that someone mentioned a place to get Italian scooter parts for a decent price. Its a Motori Minarelli stator and has Ducati energia stamped on the back.

I have no spark on this machine. I cant find a wiring diagram and it looks like the coil and CDI unit are one piece. Any help out there to diagnose this thing?

I have this scooter trying to fix for a friend. It will run for about a minute slow down and stall. The spark plug gets all sooty and black looks like a real rich mixture. Here is what I have done hasnt helped.
1: new plug
2: new petcock thought the old was leaking into vacuum line.
3: cleaned carb very well float works fine.
4: auto choke works on the bench with 12 volts dc
5: according to what I read the choke in the bike has 18volts ac and that is suppose to be good enough? no dc to it
6: all stock jetting
Am going nuts any and all help much appreciated!!!!!!

can you give me an idea or diagram where all the vacuum hoses from the carb go?

I have this scooter as a basket case. Does anybody have a diagram or can tell me where the vacuum hoses go? There are hoses that come off the tranny and some that come off the intake manifold

I have been given one of these three wheel scooters. I don't even know how to start it! Does anyone know where I can get an operators manual? Every time I try to start it nothing happens but the lights flash and an alarm pierces my ear drums!!! There is a rod on the floor that someone told me has to be in some position. I cant even move it! The key turns clockwise and counter clockwise. I havent a clue!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
