Hey folks I need some help. I have a 2006 150cc gy6 Sunl scooter. I cant figure out my sputtering problem I have at full throttle.
I have a modified exhaust, CDI, Coil/Wire, New plug, new fuel filter, cleaned carburetor, larger jet and a modified filter.
I just cant figure out whats going on. I thought it was the coil/wire but after replacing it with a new one it didnt help. I did a little reading and there was a suggestion to try adjustment screw on the carb. But after many different settings it didnt help at all.
Please help!!!
Thanks in advanced ;D

haha thanks! It was a chore thats for sure. I actually cut 90% of the factory wiring and ran all new wiring. That floor pan that I have actually hides quite a bit of it (organized of course) and the rest I have wrapped neatly in loom next to the frame so it doesnt stick out very much.

Glad you like it! I love the one seater. Two people on a scooter just doesnt feel right to me so it made sense to do a one seat design compared to the awkward looking longer seat.

Got more done last night. I ground/cut off all the rest of the access tabs and brackets that I wont be using. figured out my high and low beam wiring for my headlights. extended the rest of the wiring.
All I need to do is get stuff ready for where I will be mounting a few switches then she will be ready for paint.
Im shooting to have it painted by the end of the week but we will see how that goes.

Im also looking for some kind of guide for replacing the head gasket. I have quite a nasty oil leak and I expect that to be the culprit.

Well I THINK I may have figured out the flasher bit. From what I hear I need a LED specific type relay/flasher because for some reason the regular flasher wont work. Something to do with the LED's not pulling enough power.
I have got quite a bit done the last couple days. I got the seat all welded on as well as the foot pegs. I LOVE the riding position its so comfortable. I ground off most of the excess tabs and such. Also I got the bottom of the floor pan mounted.
I just have to mount and route a few different wiring components as well as the ignition but I am getting really close! I need to make a bracket for my LED taillight as its just ziptied to the frame haha.
After everything is all mounted and routed where it want it to go I think I will then be painting the frame flat black.
I took it for a ride and man is it a different machine! Its so different from how it first started. It really makes me want to lower tho it just feels like it would be more natural. We will see tho.
I will try and get some before and after pics up after I paint it

Yeah headlights are halogen so its good there. The pipe is pretty damn loud haha honestly it sounds like a mini harley. I will get a vid when the thing is rideable. And what I was thinking of doing is getting some pipe or square tubing and cutting it to where I would want it to be as far as lowering goes, and then just make mounting holes so I can mount it like a shock and if I dont like it I can just put the shocks back on.
