Hey folks I need some help. I have a 2006 150cc gy6 Sunl scooter. I cant figure out my sputtering problem I have at full throttle.
I have a modified exhaust, CDI, Coil/Wire, New plug, new fuel filter, cleaned carburetor, larger jet and a modified filter.
I just cant figure out whats going on. I thought it was the coil/wire but after replacing it with a new one it didnt help. I did a little reading and there was a suggestion to try adjustment screw on the carb. But after many different settings it didnt help at all.
Please help!!!
Thanks in advanced ;D

When I removed the airbox on my 2006 Tank and added an MRP air filter I had the same problem. When I mounted the filter I routed it out to the side of the scooter with some curved rubber hose. At high speeds it would sputter because the 'wind' blowing by the filter was actually creating a vaccuum and robbing the carb of air. I remounted the filter directly to the carb and the sputtering stopped. Hope this helps.

Change the fuel filter and use one for a riding mower... they are designed for gravity feed fuel systems. Car fuel filters will prevent gas flow at WOT and cause fuel starvation like you experienced... These are also good www.bikebandit.com/brand/visu-filter

Good...so many people stick in auto filters and wonder why the scooter bogs at WOT...poor fuel flow..
