I agree. It is best to double check gasket. My mistake was that it was my first Kit Install and everything that came with kit was suppose to fit and I assumed it would. I was wrong. I just don't want others to make same mistake.

there are quality gaskets that have metal ring in center but fiber everywhere else. I used this one to get rid of piston hitting stamped one. I also had alot of oil leaking out exhaust until I changed the gasket.

ticking might be new head gasket just barely nicked by piston. I had this prob when I used cheap head gasket once. I am not a fan of the "stamped" gasket.

is it possible to change a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke?
