Lift

I had one I used on a Honda Goldwing in the past. Mine had eyelets on it at the base to run a strap on each side to help secure the bike from falling over. With a scooter one has to deal with the plastic under it though. I have an electric cable wench in my shop and I use it to raise my scooter and to lift the front of my riding mower to access the blades.

My Linhai 260 seems to have a very stiff suspension. The ride is harsh when negotiating slight bumps in the road. It has less than 1400 miles on it. The rear spring adjustment is at its least firm position. The tires have the correct pressure. I have had this scooter for about six weeks and have had no other scooter riding experience. Several years ago I had a Honda Goldwing trike and it had a very smooth ride. Of course it weighed 1200 pounds too! Is this a normal experience for this size scooter?

On my Linhai 260 I have rarely used the center stand because it is almost impossible to lift the scooter and get the stand in place. I have owned a Honda Goldwing in the past and it was easier to get on the center stand. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal. I have a cable hoist in my shop and I have used it to lift the scooter in order to secure it on the center stand.

Anyone with experience with Trike City out of Pt St Lucie, Fl? They offer a trike kit for my Linhai 260 for about $1300 with shipping. This is a kit that replaces the rear wheel with a differential and chain drive. The kit is supposed to have everything including a new brake caliper, wheels/ tires, and fenders.
