Hi Scooter Madness-
I ordered mine from you on July 19th, got it on July 31st.. it is now August 30th... and I have a Scooter that was my son's birthday present to take to college.. he can't take it...
I am waiting on the MCO.. what is the issue? A month is not acceptable in any way. If TaoTao has been backed up this long, why arent you telling folks at the start of the process-? I was told 2 weeks "or so" when I ordered mine.. I am 4 weeks now from recieve date of the Scoooter-- I see other folks here on Scooter Doc with the same problem with Scooter Madness MCO's...

I wanted to give Scooter Madness a chance...
Ordered on July 19th - -an "in stock" Scooter, paid extra processing.. it did not leave Dallas,Texas for a week... Then Road Runner beat the hell out of it.. Handle bars were sticking out of the box when it was delivered... metal cage it is in was crushed, scooter was torqued a bit all over... took a while to get straight again.
So.. today is August 26th- I still have no MCO.. Scooter Madness says TaoTao is backed up and they have not seen the MCO yet. Yes- agreed on an expensive garage ornament.. I will have had for a month in a few days and paying insurance on.
My sons friend ordered one from another dealer ( these sccoters are for them to take to college at the U of Oregon ), he got his TaoTao in 5 days from order date, MCO 4 days after that. So my Son as of now does not have a scooter.. his buddy does.
I am the bad guy for ordereing from a place that is very slow with MCO etc.. and yes.. they take 3 days sometimes to reply to emails.
Thanks for the idea to contact TaoTao, I will give them a call on Monday-- a month or more is a crazy wait for MCO and if this is a known problem why isn't Scooter Madness being honest at the beginning instead of a month later?
