Thanks Cruiser, that's exactly how I programmed the Sigma. I just entered the four numbers and that was it. I heard a lot of good things about Sigma and that's why I went with it. As for the pilot jet, I am not sure what size it is. I purchased it from partsforscooters and I assume it's the stock version. I'm still learning about scooters and still don't know how you determine the jet size you have?

Just added a big trunk with wrap around back rest for a passenger. I replaced the stock lettering MC54-150 with custom lettering I ordered from an internet company Added the Trail Tech Vapor for engine temp, speedometer, ambient air, and engine rpm's. Here is the remote controller for the HD Radio. Here is the Kenwood HD ready radio and the Kenwood HD Tuner under the seat. Here are the two Kenwood stereo speakers attached to the glove box. Not shown is I added LED lights to all turn signals, brake, and dash lights. If you'd like to know anything else or see additional pictures, please let me know! Thanks!

I had trouble starting my Peace 50cc for almost two weeks, but after replacing the pilot jet I'm back on the road! I added a reliable Sigma Speedometer.

Thanks Bashan, I'd love to send you some pics. You want pics just of the engine or do you mean the whole bike? Want me to post the pics here in the thread or another source?

Thanks to all, I solved the problem!!! Turns out it was the pilot jet!!! When I ordered the intake manifold, spacer, and gaskets, I failed to mention that I ordered a new pilot jet which arrived yesterday. After installing the intake manifold and spacers it still didn't work. I really wanted to give up. So when the pilot jet came yesterday I didn't think that would work either, but I took the carburetor out once again and compared the old pilot to the new pilot holding it up to the light. I saw more light coming through the hole on the new pilot jet than the old jet so I was hopeful. I installed it and it fired up after a few tries. I warmed it up and adjusted the air/fuel mixture and idle then took it for a spin and it runs great. I assume something is stuck in the old pilot jet that just wouldn't come out with carb cleaner no matter how many times I've tried. Thanks to all for helping because I've now learned a lot more about troubleshooting!!!

I have to open the butterfly to see the holes and they are clean. Also, I was going to set the fuel mixture screw, but there is a brass looking plug in there. How can I get this out so I can get to the screw?

Well I received the new intake manifold, spacer, and gasket for the scoot and installed all of them today. The same thing happens, just starts and then dies! There is plenty of gas in the carb because I took it out again. I'm now gonna turn the fuel ratio screw out 3 turns as suggested by alleyoop and see what happens. This is frustrating being the bike only has 91 miles on it!

I took apart the carb yesterday and got everything clean. I made sure every port was clear. This is the second time I did it. But I'll wait til I get the new spacer like Bashan said. I get back to you guys when the part comes in from Partsforscooters. Probably Wednesday!

Ok, so I disconnected the vacuum line from the intake manifold and squirted some gas in, reconnected the line back and I got it running!!!! I was happy to even hear it going on for about 10 seconds. So I did it again and it ran. So this narrows down my problem, now what's next to check? I'm on a roll so lets not stop now!!!

I mentioned this in the video, but do you know what this small rubber piece is? I found it next to the scoot and it might be the source of my problem also. It's some sort of a one way tube (10mm long), like a check valve. I can blow through the side with the hole, but not the other side. It must have been in something, then fell out when I originally worked on it. Looks familiar?

I didn't have a syringe, but I have a hand held vacuum pump. I used it on the vacuum line to the petcock and put the fuel line in a container and gas came out. I'm going downstairs to squirt some gas into the intake manifold and see what happens.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I guess there is hope for this scoot! My scoot has a petcock connected on the tank so it looks like the splicer won't work that way. I did see a thread one time where someone removed the petcock from the tank. He added an elbow fitting, and relocated the fuel valve to a place similar to what's in the picture above. Maybe that's an option I should look at!

I believe I found the problem. I decided to look again at the possible vacuum issues, and I took the intake manifold off again and saw that the black plastic gasket under it has a slight crack on it. I will order a new one, but I'm hoping that this was it. It could have happened when I last put the manifold back on because I didn't look at it before. Can a slight crack in it still cause a bike not to start?

I don't have a T-connection on this bike, but there was gas in the manifold when I pulled it apart. The manifold wasn't cracked or damaged. Also, what do you mean by bypassing the vac fuel line and putting a splicer? What am I checking for there? I put together a video in the meanwhile just so everyone can see.
