hi, i have a 49cc 2010 lime green renegade which was stolen. i am looking for a speedometer or lense for it. a floormat and the bottom floorboard and the front nose cover and ignition switch. it was crashed when i got it back and i want to fix it for riding season. anyone have any used parts of any color i'd be interested. unfortunately my front disc brake lock did not work. they took off the front wheel, swaped it for another and took off my front and cut the wires and hot wired it. it has 475 miles on it now. if i dont find parts i may part it out. thanks, marCus

I didn't know that. it must be undersized like you said Sprocket. i never hear of a nut coming off with red loctite and the right tool would definitely help with the right torque. Maybe grind down a junk socket to make a tool to tighten it, i don't know ? I imagine sooner or later I will have to find out for myself when i tear into this engine i just got..

I have always used the "ultra black" silicone gasket maker . A lot of different auto makers use it in place of gaskets on the pans. It is some tuff stuff and once it dries it wont leak.

How about just adding a little blue loctite to the threads before you tighten it up ?

I emailed the company who sell this product from alibaba.com and asked the cost. This company will sell to individuals. You would think buying from the distributor it would be a little cheaper but I got a quote of $193.00 for the above setup plus $39.30 shipping to my home from Tiawan with 5 day delivery time. Was just curious as to what that setup costed. Now I know.

Does the casting have a hole restriction coming out of the pump or have they cast in extra metal in that area to allow for the fitting ? Thanks. MarCus

what type external pump would you use rich ? maybe kind of like a scavenge pump maybe ? i thought about putting in two lines into the sump and adding a cooler without disrupting the oil flow in the case from the main pump in case the electric pump quit working. i think it would get the same effect and if the pump failed then it would still have oil flow as long as the cooler could be mounted below the sump and not up high .. maybe tig weld in two 1/4" ferrules somewhere in the sump area to connect lines to? anyone else wanna comment on this or have any other ideas...

Wow...Now I am learning a little bit more. When you say the oil pump is weak. How much pressure does it make in the engine or do you know ? I am just curious is all. Is there anywhere to get some specs on the gy6 150 engine anywhere on the web and do they make a better oil pump than the stock one ? Thanks, MarCus

HI, I have a few questions ? Has anyone seen these crank cases sides for sale before ? I am going to build a bigger gy6 engine this winter and trying to learn as much as I can before I do. I take it this is for adding an oil cooler to the 150cc engine using oil lines in the two holes shown. Do you think this piece is just drilled and tapped for oil lines or is it from another type engine like a gy6b ? Can a stock gy6 150cc engine be drilled and tapped to add an oil cooler like this one shown ? I saw this on ebay item number 180698888491 .. thanks.. marCus Attachments:
