Carb is clean, fuel flow great , scooter runs great, only 600 miles on it. I know there is a governor just can't find it.ill check the CDI, when you don't have a pink wire? what other wire can you cut.
I may be running DC smaller cdi, I have a no rev AC orange CDI, but im not getting spark, when i use it. I have 4 wire + 2 wire so that AC right.

i finally got it to start up...kind of. after fiddling with some loose electrical connections, jumping the bike with my car battery and some starter fluid directly into the plug hole, i was able to get it to idle. i let it do its thing for about 20 minutes while it blew out a lot of nasty smelling white/gray smoke (probably excess motor oil from installing the bbk) unfortunately, i've had to kickstart it if the scooter's not being fed power from my car battery. i know the starter it in good condition as it's just about brand new. my neighbor thought it might be something in terms of the ignition switch? idk... ANYWAY, when i went to take my scoot for a ride, i was completely dismayed to find that my top speed went from about 35mph (pre-BBK and new CDI and coil) to a wimpy 10mph! from looking around i'm starting to think it is either the valves or it needs a larger main jet? my jet is whatever size comes stock in a 50cc gy6 carb (i think #75)...with the 50mm BBK (83cc?) i'm thinking i should up-jet to about #90- does that sound crazy? airbox and exhaust are still stock. one interesting symptom is that giving the scoot any throttle while attempting to start completely bogs the engine down. once it starts up, throttle seems to work as normal (except for the fact that i get almost NO power) Read more: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=discussion&thread=41973page=1#ixzz1AaeHCxr

Yes i will try that, i did clean the carb but not a right way as i can see now. The scooter only has 600 miles,i got it off a friend who had it sitting for a few months. Also are there any electrical wires other then the kill switch that can stop my start up. Thanks alot guys, for your help im very new to working on scooters.

Yes once again a chinese 50 cc 4 stroke motor that refuses to start.I road this scooter last year it has over 1000 kms on it . Plug is dry looks like no gas will not fire.Dropped gas down spark plug hole And it does fire, so far I. Replaced gas in tank and fuel filter.Gas tank valve works lots of gas to carb.No leaks on intake manifold. Replaced spark plug.Placed plug on frame cranked engine and there is a spark on the electrode of plug. Cleaned carb several times , no luck so replaced with new carb. Checked and set valves, compression test over 160 lbs. Sprayed starting fluid down spark plug hole.Sprade fluid into intake of carb. And i do hear like the scooter wants to start, but just not turning over.
