yep my hoses are correct .. its was running fine and just started doing this tried 2 carbs same thing

it idles the dies when i twist throttle ..then i pump the throttle it starts then dies i took off gas line and when i crank engine gas comes out the hose ..hoses are on correct yes air filter is on too

when i pump the throttle when engine is off.. then restart.. the motor reves up then stalls again .. did the same thing when i tried another good carb too

yea that is the one on mine.. no cap.. the idle speed screw has the spring do know that.. tried 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 and all between on mixture screw still stalls when giving gas

just watched video i thought that bigger cap was it mine.. its open and i been trying to set that one today too tried 1 1/2 then 2 1/2 and all between .. i thought that was my idle mixture screw did get that to work either any other ideas

ok would that cause the scoot to run fine then just act up .. i will drill it out tomorrow if thats not it any other things to check.. thanks.. what should i set the idle mixture at 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 then after drilling that out what do i set the high speed to

i have a spark tester two kinds thru glass and gap jumper ..my carb has a side throttle cable and a cap is over the high speed adjuster should I remove it then adj ..also the scoot was running fine then this happen is that normal.. I also set my valve gap 5 times to make sure it was correct .003 on both no ticking at all any looser it ticks so IAM 100 percent they are correct help please ERIC OH yea yes I did adj the idle mixture tried 1 1/2 nothing and then 2 1/2 still nothing ..I do know about idle speed also rise speed stalls out  |

I have a 50cc schwinn 2012 and have only 945 kl on motor just started stalling when giving gas I switched cdi and not it .. set valves at .002 both and nothing switched carbs and nothing ..checked getting gas when cranking yes on gas .. checked spark and have good spark .. adj carb idle screw at 1 1/2 turns out and not it ..set carb idle at 2 1/2 turns out and not it.. let idle and sprayed carb cleaner while running no change .. now iam lost please help anyone ;( ERIC 586-292-2979 MICH

HI GUYS I need to refresh my memory on my scoot 50cc gy6 to my CDI BOX one plug has three the other has 2 that a a/c CDI... and a dc/ has 3 in one plug and only one out the other right... please let me know thanks to all  |

i have a 2009 lifan 50cc also a gps.. my speedometer is off.. can you adjust anything to make speedometer correct.. i dont know the exact amount its off by yet but 100 percent sure it is.. so when i find that out.. is there anything i can do to adj the speedometer to make it correct ..wondering before i mark it with a magic marker lol

hey everyone got a small problem my lifan scoot speedo cable and drive gear broke tried scrappys and did not fit hole did but knoch didnt mine has keeper knotch on cable side where cable pushes in and cable is screwed to puck keeping it from pulling out i cant seem to find a gear puck with knotch in where cable screws in to gear puck like mine scrappys knoch is on bottom mine is next to cable right where the speedo cable screw hole is axel hole is 1/2 inch or whatever mm its equal to if no body understands ill take a pic if this will help let me know if i explained this right iam a guy and this is hard for a lot of us lol lmk what you guys think ERIC

hello guys was wondering if i can get more speed or performance by upgrading my stock carb to a 20 or 22 or whatever you can tell me what size to up grade to will i have to change thing else if you read my prior post i already did a lot of up grades as is my stock carb has 88 main jet performance air filter and exhaust upgrade cdi and variators upgrade to what size carb should i use to get more top bottom speed please give me your awsome advise the fourm is the best on the internet you guys help me so much and really love to have a fourm like this for help thanks guys you all rock and to add scrappy dog scooters are my choice for great prices and parts thanks neil at scrappys i think my stock carb is 17mm i think tx again
