Tao Tao 50cc to 80cc BB kit before I finish with this rebuild wondering if I should replace my cam shaft with bigger lobes???my valves are 69mm not 64mm on the valve head ..think stock cam is ok.. but ..wanted to make sure while motor is out.. also I have number 88 high speed jet in now.. carb of course ..will this jet be good for my BB kit ..or what size should I go with on this rebuild.. this site really is one of my top 3 I deal with and the only one for my scoot .. thanks again for ALL the help I get from everyone

Thats a good question .. I have a good feeling you already know this ..spill it Alley lol.. does a EGR valve system improve a stock or even improve a BB kit .. I believe its for Cali pollution right I think it does NOT improve the engine performance...well ? |

Iam installing a 80cc big bore kit on my 2012 tao tao VIP 50cc GY6 and wanted to ask.. my stock engine has a EGR system on the valve head but my NEW BB kit does not have this system ..can I install my NEW kit on my scooter without this EGR system.. I can use my existing cover being that the EGR hole is solid alum in that area.. in other words can I just remove this EGR system all together I believe I can just wanted to make sure thanks ..

Iam installing a 80cc kit to my 50cc tao tao vip and cant find a really good pic on installing my rings in correct order and ring shape..I know the order but wanted a DOUBLE check to make SURE there in correctly.. so asking for a ring install pic thats a sure thing I cannot get them in wrong in any kind of way .. keep in mind I have done this many times on small engines.. but it been awhile thanks .. I had great luck with all of you on this site and this feels great to find people who care and know scooters well any other tips would also be appreciated on my rebuild.oh its a 4 stroke |

Hey Alleyoop (THANKS) for your help your a awsome person.. and I love getting your help when I need it .. found the problem with stalling when gas was given it was ( WATER IN THE GAS TANK ) can you believe that I found it when I was going to put a bigger main jet in THANKS AGAIN YOU ROCK see ya next problem lol ERIC (RUNS LIKE A TOP)
