Added benefit: I had 130/60/13 on there originally and put 140/60/13 on as replacements. Now my speedo is only about 2 MPH off as apposed to the seven it used to be!!
I was able to get 3500 out of the original set. Front was still fine but I just have a thing about miss matched tires on anything. (car, truck, scooter, lawn mower) Damn OCD!!! Plus the shop gave me 20 bucks for my old front tire! ;D

I got 2 new Michelin Gold Standard tires on today and what an incredible difference in the ride and handling. I knew it would make a difference but man. I feel much safer now! ;D

Well, lets see, first of all you don't know me or anything about me and if you were "trained to put up with all kinds of BS like mine", I believe you would be able to put up with it a little better than this type of response. As far as going crying to a mod., obviously that would not do any good going to a mod like you. I just don't see were Greg's post was so derogatory towards you or anyone else. Sounds to me like someone has some anger issues and may need some medication. Let see what kind of professional response comes from a trained admin about this. I love coming here and reading all about scooters but I hate when it ones way or the highway mentality. Just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. ;D Hey pretty cool, I was with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg NC how far is that from where you live. Alleyoop Hey, it's about 259 miles from here to there. Use to travel through there a lot for work. All good no hard feelings or ill will. Peace

I know this is going to sound crazy but it will work and work well. If you take the nut off and put two strands of wire out of a 10 gauge wire on the threads and put the nut on over the strands. It will stay put and come off without difficulty. I keep a 6 inch piece in my scoot all the time just in case. ;D Oh, and you mention something about your wife?

Hey Bud, I bet if someone came on and layed down some drama about you, you would be on him like dog on snit or go crying to an admin. I don't think you know but we Admin are trained to spot flameings and get the firehose out. You may want to bid for the job, they send us to Aruba for a week for training, man this is the life. We get paid A BUCK THREE EIGHTY to put up with all kinds of bullsnit like yours. ;D No need for a nice warm welcome he was welcomed back in Dec when he joined. This was his second post and not a flattering one to the forum. Alleyoop Well, lets see, first of all you don't know me or anything about me and if you were "trained to put up with all kinds of BS like mine", I believe you would be able to put up with it a little better than this type of response. Hiis post was not a goodie goodie post, he bascially told us this forum is not for him, and that is fine he can choose wherever he wants to be. He only joined this forum to advertise his website no other reason. He even told us 2nd post, You have to know some of these people and how they operate to understand their underlying meaning. Some will come out and say it others beat around the bush and play their sly games. Not only is it obvious what he thinks about this forum he added to that. He did not have to mention ANYTHING about ANYBODY but he just had to drop some of what was in his shorts about another person that he knows is not on here. He can easly go to the other forum and have it out with him if he has a beef with him. As for the Very Telling damn right, his post was in no way complementary to this forum for one and on top of that he drops a load on another guy. But you just overlooked those points and because I responded and told it like it is with him you jumped on me. Couple of things come to mind your friends or you agree with him nothing wrong with that as well. To each his own as they say. Alleyoop I think that it was the way you interpreted it. I don't think there was any harm intended. It seems like you may have gone in with a bias opinion before even reading the post. Anyway just my 2 cents, can't afford any more than that. ;D Nice warm welcome for him by the way, and from an Admin.

I have bought several of these and everyone loves them. Picture is great and comes with a couple different mounting options. I have purchased several for SC State Troopers and they love it. I use mine daily and don't treat it so well and it has not let me down yet. Actually has a better picture than the department issued body cam's. www.ebay.com/itm/200489266431?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3984wt_1185Granted it takes a little bit for the boat to get it here but really not to bad. ;D

Thanks. I went with a cover on Ebay. I live in FL so I use the scooter daily ( it doesnt sit) I'm just going to silicone a section of a shower curtain inside the area of the scooter I need to be covered and water proof ( the seat area ) since it won't fit on so tight anymore that rain can't slid into the cracks Shower curtain... that's a good idea! Thanks for the idea. I just want the area over my gauges and seat "water proof". Do you know if a spray adhesive would hold it to a nylon cover. Lord knows I can't sew so that's out of the question. ;D

I would first check for loose or corroded wires from the sensor to the guage. Alleyoop Do you happen to know where the sensor is located? Is it the one that threads into the radiator or is that for something else? I guess the sensor is ok if the fan is cycling fine.

I was wondering if anyone has replaced their in-dash gauge with a direct replacement size wise? Maybe gone digital or something that fits directly into the opening of the factory one on a 2007 JCL 250cc. Mine has started acting up a bit and I am not sure how much I can depend on it and wanted to replace it. I believe it to be my gauge anyway, My fan still cycles fine but my gauge jumps up and down and sometimes doesn't move at all. No real pattern to when it works or not. Thoughts, ideas, part numbers, pictures would be surely appreciated. Thanks in advance. ;D
