Dumped the oil it had gas or water in it. Level was good when I first checked it today before dumping it it was high.
If it has water how do I get the water out.
If I drain the tank what do I do with the gas water mixture?
Where in the tank is the gas pickup?

Here in Florida you can get most anything shooting related and you don't need to know anyone.

I filled the tank on Sat I ended up having it overflow I was watching the gas gauge but it didn't really move. Once it overflowed I closed the cap and ran water over the tank to rinse it off. Opened the tank and it was to the top closed it off and took the trike around the block a few times then parked it this morning I pushed it of the garage and started it letting it idle while I put my helmet on closed the door sat on the trike twisted the throttle and it died. Would not start. Went out came back 2 hrs later same thing. Just tried again and no start. I took the gas cap off and the gas level can't be reached with my finger it's like it went away. Gas in the filter took plug out and it is wet.
Any ideas? How could the gas level go from top of the filler to low enough that it can't be reached? No gas leak floor order the trike is dry.

Ger I am working one them, going to the hospital 2 and 3 times a week. I start the infussions for this crap got on the 6th so have many test pluss all the eye things going on. But things look much better I think. Still have not found bearings for the bolt ons on the swing arms for the Magnum but he is going to machine a sleeve on each and mount than a grease fitting and a 12mm bolt that will solve that Mike Can't wait to see the results. Getting more comfortable outside so I'll be chomping at the bit to get me some parts and give it a go. |

Ger I did most of the work but the shop is working on the trike section. Tere will be no movement in teh hub or swing arms when it is done. Should run smooth with very little vibrations when done. All replacement bearings and sleeves ande in the USA and some shop made mods too Magoo Once it's done and proves to work I'd like a blow by blow. Maybe a work sheet that one could follow. |

Ger, l listed mine at $2,500 but would not sell it for that. Yes it has been hot but once this rain gets off us here I think the heat it gone. I hope to be able to ride again in a few days as I have had a lot of trouble with my eyes but it had beenj getting better. My swing arms are now being redone at the mounts with better and stronger bearing ans sleeves, the hubs are done and have gease fitting also. There should be no [;ay on the wheels when it all goes back on but was a little expensive. I think the swing arm bearings and sleeves are in later this week. Will let ya know how it rides when it is done. Mike Did your guy do all the work or did you do some? |
