Look for the Chinese to do to the Japanese what the Japanese did to the British and American motorcycle and motor scooter industries. After all they have the mistakes the other companies made to learn from.

I would like to see something in the 350-500cc range. Simple, standard twin.

I discovered the Wolf 150 a while back but the Misfit is new to me. I love them both. I would go for the Wolf first because I'm an old fart and remember the small Hondas.

IMO and only IMO. There should be a separate class for custom machines. I give the person a lot of credit for building it as his skills far exceed mine but even for charity fair classes and rules should be established. The Lake Erie Loop Run is done with different classes and even different rules in the same class. One set for newer bikes and another for old bikes to even the playing field. It is also done for charity (children who suffer bad burns) and it gives people like you and me a chance if we were to run. I watched a Video of someone who morphed a 600cc 4 cylinder sport bike engine between the rider and the steering head. Very well done. But who wants to ride a scooter 130 mph?

Its very hard to come up with a comparison because its up to the individual states to set rates. In my state Florida, a $100.00 title transfer fee is charged and my 500 cc Royal Enfield costs $48.00 a year. Some states charge a property tax on vehicles and it can get quite costly. Insurance for both motorcycles is $95.00 a year. Keep in mind we are both around 60 years old and have very clean driving records. My Nissan pick up costs $71.00 a year as does my wife's Altima and we pay $1,900 a year for 100,000/300,000 coverage and we are in an area considered high for rates. Gas at the cheap places is about $3.85 a gal. for reg. up to $4.15 for diesel. About $80.00 per hour i would guess shop rates would average. Costs vary greatly from area to area, city to country its hard to come up with an average.

I pulled up to a scooter at a red light and when the rider noticed me looking at his scooter I said, "Great looking scooter, is it a 150?" He smiled and said yes and btw thats a nice motorcycle. We talked untill the long red turned to green and rode the next few miles together.

If I could buy a small truck like that with 4 wheels I would do it. I just can't get with 3 wheels. If I could use one for a few weeks I might change my mind if it could cruise at 60 mph. I need to tow at least 1,000 lbs. and I doubt it could do it.
